I started writing poetry as a teenager as a way to get my feelings on paper. Over the years I have written over 100 poems. In my early 20s I was reading many romance novels and started having ideas of my own, rather than reading I began writing and literally - still to this day I still hand write my stories (soft romance with a bit of suspense). Yes I call them stories and probably always will even if they are published either in soft cover or as an E-Book, but that is what a book is a story being told. Once my stories are complete I put them in my computer.

I have always looked at my writing as a keepsake and have tried over the years to have anyone read them. I have had one cousin read my first book when I was in the process of writing it and she loved it, but in this fast paced world friends and family were interested, but simply didn't have the time.

I grew up in Maine on 100 acres of land and have always loved the outdoors and try to base my stories in or near Maine and the outdoors.

My creativity goes beyond the paper and pen.  I also do many crafts in which I create myself any where from beading flowers, wood work or crocheting banners with my own personally created patterns. I always have to keep my hands busy.
